About Me: Jasper was born in the Alexandrian Everkeep, about 8 years after the dome appeared and swallowed the plains of Yyasulani. His father died when he was very young, so he was raised by his mother and Eldite step-father - a pair of naturalists who met at a popular zoo within the Everkeep. They're overbearing and embarrassing, and did their best to ensure that he had plenty of life to live, a good education, and an advantageous start as he grew from child into a young man.Early on, Jasper demonstrated a talent for singing and music, which, as he finished school and began looking for work, caught the eye of the people running the Arcadion. Dubbed 'Starlight Lustre' and given the feral soul of a unicorn, he crafted his stage persona as a dazzling larger-than-life heartthrob, a teen idol to make the young people of Alexandria swoon while he felled his opponents with starry bursts of light and blinding bolts from a bow. His star rose quickly, eventually landing him in the Heavyweight division.But, nothing lasts forever... and Jasper's fairly weak constitution meant he was one of the earliest cases of psychonekrosis. Immortalized - aka put into a giant box in the presidents office to await a cure - Jasper spent about 2 years in suspended animation, awaiting a champion that would defeat the Lindwurm and cure him along with the other afflicted fighters. Unfortunately, that lengthy period of time not moving in the levin-soaked Everkeep meant that even after the Unenhanced Warrior defeated the lindwurm and freed the fighters, Jasper was left a shell of his former self. Facing significant paralysis from the levin, he was forced to retire.The lingering psychonekrosis meant that he was unable to take advantage of the porxie cure, leaving Jasper despondent and hospitalized. But it was then that a mysterious mage from the Eastern continent of Eorzea offered him a strange second chance... a ghost of unsurpassingly dense but badly damaged aether from an impossibly long stint as part of an ancient god's summoning. The mage posited that the ghost's aetheric density would help stabilize the damage left by the psychonekrosis and levin, while Jasper's living mortality would help stabilize and restore the ghost to a state where it could pass on without being shredded by the aetherial sea.Now bound to a spectral buddy (that uses an electrope box to voice his opinion, occasionally), Jasper has found himself convalescing in Eorzea, far away from the levin that still causes intermittent paralysis even as it slowly seeps out of his body and soul. His day job is acting as the groundskeeper and advisor at Quanta, but between being very much chronically ill and a fish out of water, he hasn't really been able to find steady work.But he's BORED.
